For a long time we have been depending on Apple to make repairs for us, since their terminals have always been a compact pack that did not allow manipulation of any kind and even fewer attempts at private repair (without losing warranties and other consequences).
In these years we have seen how we change one terminal for another, but we have never seen anyone opening one to repair it. A few days ago we published that the swaps are over and Apple prepares for on-site repair of terminals. This does not mean that we are going to see how it is done, but thanks to Cult of Mac we can see how an iPhone 5s is repaired.
The repairs will be carried out by the Genius and to speed up their work some tools have been designed to facilitate the task. To make this information more visual, they have prepared some animated gifs that I put below, since they are self-explanatory. The seven components that can be substituted are; speaker, receiver, vibration motor, iSight camera module, battery, SIM ejector and screen.
Universal Display Fixture Removal - Screen Replacement
Apple created the Universal Display Fixture as a way to provide faster access to the internal components of the iPhone, without compromising the components in the process. This process is not only exclusive to changes due to a broken screen, but also to errors in the proximity sensor and other elements that are directly and independently linked to it.
The new system integrates 4 fixing suction cups to smooth the opening

Battery removal
To disassemble the iPhone 5s batteries it is recommended to cut the adhesive tape and then slowly pull the adhesive that is under the battery, before using the black stick.
Halve the adhesive
Hold tight and pull following the path around the battery
Use the black stick to lift the battery. Make sure that no adhesive residue remains.
Remember to reinstall the stickers so that the battery is well located and secured.

Speaker replacement
It is one of the simplest operations. Loosen the broken component and put a new one

They changed my iPhone 5 last week, after 1 year and a month .. and in record time .. from the call to the reception of the new terminal 4 days.
