The need for remove followers from our list of users who follow us it may be due to various reasons. Perhaps you do not want that user to consult your tweets or you have had some friction in the social network. Until recently, we could only block the user from unfollowing us. However, for a few months Twitter was testing an option that allowed delete followers without blocking them. And this feature is now available to all users.
To do this, click on your «Followers» list. Find the user you want to remove and click on the «…» and click on «Remove follower». From that moment on, the user will stop following you. You will not receive any notification of it but he will be able to follow you again if he realizes that he is not following you.
Twitter continues to test new tools and options to combat this type of misleading content and the bad vibes that are in the service or simply improving its platform in many aspects. Some of those options may be the option to archive tweets, hide the tweets that you have already marked as I like or stop following conversations that do not contribute anything to you. We'll see if these features eventually make it to the final version of Twitter.
