No Fortnite on the App Store until the sentence is final

The legal battle between the Cupertino and Epic company is now going to the next level after the sentence handed down by Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers. At the time, Rogers ruled that Apple should allow app store developers to redirect users to their web pages, while enforcing a significant financial penalty that Epic paid to Apple and positioned itself on the side of the Cupertino firm for the remainder of the sentence.

At that time Apple described the sentence as a clear victory against the Epic lawsuit, for its part Epic presented an appeal to the sentence and this was only beginning. Now in Cupertino they already moved a new tab, making it clear to Epic that it will not allow Fortnite to return to the App Store until the judicial verdict is final.

Fortnite players are the losers again

In short, what interests us most is having all the games, applications and services always available. In this case, the users who continue to play Fortnite will be the main losers seen from outside the companies, they will be left without Fortnite at least until the final sentence is handed down and then we'll see ... The problem is that the end of these appeals can take a long time, we talk about five years or so from now.

Relations between Apple and Epic Games were really deteriorated after the accusations of each other, this led to complaints and later to the withdrawal of the game from the App Store. It is now confirmed that the waiting time for this game to be usable again on an iOS device is indefinite and really incalculable. The accusations between the two companies do not cease and it is clear that this cannot end well for both parties, so we will continue to monitor events now. knowing that we will see Fortnite on an Apple device possibly never again.
