And is that the company in charge of manufacturing modems for Apple devices has a loss of revenue of about 200 million compared to last year, which clearly indicates that Apple's losses are obviously affecting the rest of the companies that supply parts to the devices of the Cupertino boys.
The figure is really large and the estimates of unsold iPhone is important so it can be understood that Apple drastically reduced the production of the iPhone. These figures are approximate as we say, but they are quite close to reality considering that Intel's revenue depends largely on Apple if we focus on the sale of modems.
The fall in iPhone sales can be calculated in figures
The figure being roughly calculated from Business Insider is between 8,7 and 11 million fewer iPhones sold all over the world, and is obtained by calculating roughly the value of each of the modems it sells. Obviously they also sell to other manufacturers but the main customer is Apple.
On the other hand the figures presented by Intel can be saved thanks to the sales of other components for computers such as Macs, PCs and other devices, since in regards to this division of modems for the iPhone they are having a pretty bad time. There is little left for Apple to show the results of the quarter and there is also little left for the annual shareholders meeting, so these are times when the magnitude of these losses can be seen a little more clearly although they will not really offer us concrete data on the number of iPhones they haven't sold.
